Chocolate Dhokla

For all the chocolate lovers and dhokla patrons this is for you. A dish which has a mild combination of all flavours: sweet,sour,salty yet chocolaty.

> Another Dish which will take you Gujarat. Now its more often that you would like to visit Gujarat, for the cuisines and for Mr. Modi.So this will add spice to your life with sugar indeed. > > > > > Ingredients: > > 1. 1 cup semolina(rava or sooji)
> 2. 1 cup thick yogurt. ( has to be fresh)
> 3. 12 tsp of salt.
> 4. 1-2 tsps of chocolate milk powder.
> 5. 4 tsps of sugar.
> 6. Regular eno fruit salt( preferably without flavour).
> 7. 1 tsp of baking powder.
> 8. a pinch of baking soda.
> 9. 1-1&12 cup of water. > > Method: > > 1. Mix all the dry ingredients like semolina,sugar,salt,chocolate milk powder,baking powder,baking soda in a bowl. > > 2. Now add the yogurt and whisk the batter together just like we do it for rava idli.It will turn brown in colour the moment all the choco powder is mixed. > > 3. Avoid lumps here too and add water to make it a pouring consistency of dhokla. > > 4. Grease the tray or vessel with oil wherein you want to steam this dhokla. > > 5. Pour the batter in the prepared vessel.Now quickly add regular eno fruit salt and stir the batter. > > 6. Keep it in the microwave for 4 mins.You may check after 2:30 mins if it has risen enough. > > 7. Mine did not rise sufficiently because i skipped the fruit salt. > > 8.After 4 mins take it out let it cool for another 1 min and cut squares out of it. > > 9.Serve it cool. >
