> > So now on, no more craving. Just enjoy the yummy chuski melting in your mouth which is absolutely healthy and tasty treat compared to those available in markets. This one doesn’t need any food color or essence to bring on a good taste and color to the treat. You can freeze it for a month and enjoy. It does not need ice-cream shaver or ice-shaving machine. All it needs is 2 hrs patience for freezing!

Ingredients:
1. Watermelon cut in big chunks – 5-6 cups
2. Oranges/cuties/mandarins peeled – 5-6
3. Pudhina ( mint leaves) – 2 tbsp
4. rock salt(kala namak) – 1 tsp
5. Chaat masala – 1 tsp
6. salt ( namak)- 12 tsp
7. lemon juice – 3 tbsp depending on the sourness of the oranges
8. sugar (optional) – 2 tbsp depending on the sweetness of the fruits( I although have skipped)

Note: This quantity serves 12 persons in shot glasses.

Method:
1. Wash and peel the watermelon and oranges.

  1. Cut them into large pieces and add them in a blender, chopper or mixer jar.

  2. Also add the mint leaves and other ingredients.

  1. Now blend them nicely to form an orangish red juice. You may strain the juice to remove the seeds of watermelon
and fruit skin if left , I , however did not strain it,because I like the taste of pudhina leaves, and different ingredients.

  2. Taste the juice and adjust the ingredients according to your taste. Pour the juice in ice-cream molds or glass shots or small containers or any glass.

  3. Keep these containers in the freezer.

  4. After about an hour when the top layer freezes, then insert an ice-cream stick in it and keep it straight.

  5. Nearly after 4 hours , take out the moulds from the freezer and remove the yummy chuski from the mold and enjoy!!
